Human beings are dynamic, ever-changing organisms. Long exposures reveal an existential reality beyond the still image and what we see with the naked eye or in a still photograph. Here are some images that I recently digitised from old negatives taken in the 1980s.

* The original silver halide prints were toned using a ferric ammonium citrate solution, to create the blue effect. I have simulated this in the digital version in Photoshop.
